With over twenty years of first hand in field experience, our roots are some of the deepest in the industry. Advance Cover Crops was formed in 2013 by Adam Dahmer, a sixth-generation farmer, with these goals in mind, provide the highest quality seed at the best price with service that is second to none. These principles are what we operate by on a day to day basis.
As the cover crop movement gained traction in the early teens’, Adam saw that many farmers were wanting to implement change on their operation, to better their soils, their operation, the environment in which they raised their families, and their bottom line. But as with most things today farmers were reaching out to sources that either didn’t have practical experience or failed to provide the total truth about the cover crop systems in which they were operating. Adam saw this misrepresentation of information in regards to cover crops was going to lead farmers down a bumpy path that would include many frustrations and setbacks.
With a burning passion for agriculture and soil health, it was decided that stepping in the cover crop business was not an option, but a responsibility to ensure the success of farmers across the Midwest. The responsibility was not only to provide truthful experienced based recommendations, but to constantly research to make sure the best product in the market were available. That is why today, Advance Cover Crops works with Bio-Till, Grassland Oregon, I&J mfg., and Progressive Ag Innovation. We are constantly searching, testing, and studying products on the market to ensure that we stay out in front to ensure farmer success.
